On November 15, 2024, Dr. Palisa Williams Rushin launched her first release on her daughter's 25th birthday. The book is a story of resilience and is written to uplift and encourage hope to those who are grieving a loss. Overcoming the trauma of her daughter's tragic death, the book launch was a celebration of not only living but thriving despite the circumstances. The evening was highlighted with a book signing, encouraging words from the author, live music from Ko'ree Violin Jackson, and delicious food at the beautiful Copper Roux in Lexington, Kentucky.
